Young Justice (Young Justice in Latin America, Young Justice League in Spain) is an animated television series created by Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti for Cartoon Network, premiered in January 2011 with the pilot episode that aired 26 November 2010.
Premiering in Latin America is from Monday 7 noviembre.3 Despite its title, is not an adaptation of the comic book Young Justice created by Todd Dezago and Todd Nauck, but rather, an adaptation of the entire DC Universe, with special youth care superhéroes.
The series follows the life of teen heroes who are members of a covert operation team fiction Young Justice- -called her adult counterpart celebrity internationally, the League Justice6 7 series is set in the fictional universe of the earth-16, for a period of time in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon. In the second season the title was changed to "Young Justice: Invasion" 8 January 23, 2013, Cartoon Network officially canceled the series.
Although Young Justice follows a very different from the mainstream DC Universe continuity, Weisman has stated that the series covers basic stages. Earth-16 was chosen by DC Entertainment for the series as it is largely without explotar.
Miss Martian, 11 which was originally a white martian in comics, was added because of the date of their arrival on Earth, which could fit into the concept of principles of this universe DC. Aqualad, Robin instead, is the team leader. Moreover, the Aqualad presented at the show is a completely new character created by Weisman and Vietti, and much of its design was adapted to the new Aqualad comics, presented at the Brightest Day series. Arrowette was replaced by Artemis.12 13 also mention as a curiosity replacing Tim Drake and Bart Allen (who still wore his identity Impulse team in the comics), which appear in the original comic book series as Robin and Kid Flash by Dick Grayson and Wally West, ancestors of these two characters in their respective secret identities. Some of the characters in the series are aged to match those of their original counterparts. However, the spirit and intent of the characters says, it will be maintained.
